KONTUR 21, a CONOSCOPE company, designs and evaluates new statistical models in order to get deep into the data. One of these new methods analyzes how future customers impact the bottom-line.

To have secure customer growth and structure in the future, reliable population projections were calculated for the supply network for an energy supplier. Here a mathematical model was applied that enabled population trends to be forecasted and network analysis to be conducted. Future scenarios were developed using secondary data from official statistics combined with the utility's own primary survey data.
